a cat dreams...

features

last call is a short interactive story with multiple choices, which features black and white photographs shot on film, developed, and then printed by me in the darkroom.
it marks my second attempt at blending film photography and digital fruition, and the third instalment in a still untitled series of projects that started with something that feels like waiting.

the aim of last call is to share some thoughts with whoever will play it as the year comes to an end, and tries to be a sweeter look at life, work and personal experiences than in previous instalments of the series.

As with your previous works, I really enjoyed the experience, thanks! Just a couple of dumb notes:

  • The serifs and contours of the letter showing up before the letter, instead the whole letter getting typed, feels weird
  • I get and like the idea of the text being displaced, but sometimes it causes to click before the line has ended when it's too spaced out, thus skipping it to the end. Maybe an "Auto" option would do well

thanks a lot for playing and for the comment!!

i plan on following this kind of approach to texts in the next projects and i think your tips will be very very useful, thanks a lot!
